Vertical tension, upward tending, becoming a better human being.
Aesthetics underlies valuation, being able to determine what is better, a dialectic.
Without God things like justice and goodness lose their foundation, and they change.
Any person engaged in improvement will lose direction. Uncertainty will increase. Navigating through the abyss will become impossible.
Things like justice and goodness will by increments lose their meaning and their value. By increments the ’improving’ person will become more selfish.
Why don't you hang your hat on the highest hook.
Cutting oneself away until one loses the ability to do that.
The lack of traction that evil has with reality.
The union lost so soon.
I am systemic.
Lets be that kid that we saw on TV.
A hand gripping a rope that is pulling it toward its own destruction,
that will get crushed in the pulley.

Why is it so easy to fall asleep during the day and such a struggle at bedtime?

Eternity is in the present? Can i access eternity, or that place without time in the present? Or access past and future? No time or all time. Presented all at once in the present. How much reality can a brain hold? Uncertainty, limited access, seeming randomness when confronted by something that is too complex for the mind to see pattern. Black swans, the unexpected, appearing. Tinkering rather than planning. Proceeding by trial and error. Coruscating paths of thought. Uncertain unspecific bringing large complex events to narrative. To a structure that can explain everything. Following threads, repeating them, comparing them, to see what remains constant and what changes. Developing an aesthetic up to the task of living a life. Tracing nature, observing it, repeating it. Tinkering. What insights a naturalist could bring to theology and visa versa. What do these red lines mean in the water. Blood vessels? Communication? Movement within the things that don't move. Different scales of movement. Everything moves, at different speeds and in different directions. Disparately, randomly, seemingly. Complex systems, meaning a relationship factor throughout. Everything communicates, relates, creating a meaning. Sender-receiver, each required to perform its function, else no meaning. Meanings lit up in coruscating paths. Where do i want to live on this planet, in the dark or in the light. Lit.
