Plastic. Presenting a front. Rose coloured. Pretty petals. The vertical pattern seems to slice this flower in half. A horrible alien grimacing, blowing me a kiss. A weird creature, full of eyes. The fairy that lives in this flower? Now it sleeps. Now she sleeps. No, i will not reject her, even though she seems weird to me; to my aesthetic. Playfulness, sadness, beseeching. Will you love me? I see me in these red hues; my gaze, my look. I see the magical effect of movement within no movement. My child, my gaze, looking back at me. So strange, so terrible, yet so fascinating. Climbing into worlds I would never have thought of before now. Its like reading a novel with no words. I love art. I love contemplating art. A flower is a plant’s sexual organ. Why do these flowers have five petals? The paint holds the trace of water. New pathways have been formed in my mind.
Gemini:
It is interesting that the writer sees their own gaze reflected in the flower's eyes. This suggests that they identify with the flower's strangeness and otherness. The fact that the flower is a sexual organ also seems to be significant to the writer, but it is not clear what they make of this connection.
