[29 July 2022] Prophetic mood. Rumbling, ominous, thunder, with gravity, density, terror, solidity, fear - as raindrops lightly splash into their pools and trickle into their currents. Sound ranges from deep bass to high treble. Whole, complete, wide-ranging, penetrating, deep. Tension in the shallow and the deep, the simultaneous shallowness and profundity, lightness and heaviness, the mundane and the uncanny, the normal pleasant with the uncanny sublime. This horse has uneven eyes, uneven eyes, asymmetrical eyes, asymmetrical, symmetry, fearful symmetry, fearful asymmetry - what happens here in the painting, happens there to you too. Who me? I am but an innocent white horse, what could I possibly do? I have the purest intentions, in tensions, tensions within my image appear as, appears as a unity, a unified whole, yet my boundaries are leaking, the paint on the surface, at my boundaries, interact on the falt surface, the flat surface, with the illusion of my image, intertwining, bleeding, seeping, my container imperfect, vacillates, oscillates, yet still, though the grass does grow, and my hooves do grip, find grip, on the ground, now, and everything seems much calmer, glazed over with soothing pale blue tones, I am not a lie - I am a process, in time, I have fleetness, flatness and three dimensional illusion, will I need to keep going for much longer? Is not the world ending in 2024?
